Welcome to Alberta, Canada! I invite you to hunt deer, moose and black bear and at the same time experience the peace and tranquility of true wilderness camping. Along with trophies and photographs we provide great memories ... a lasting impression of atmosphere, comfort and enjoyment.
I am a licensed and bonded outfitter and Class 'A' Guide approaching 20 years experience specializing in personalized hunting. I operate out of Edmonton (capital city), Alberta, Canada.
Our hunting groups are small, normally 4 hunters and two Guides. This group size ensures that we can provide the personalized attention and that often makes the difference between a 'good hunt and a great hunt'. Our camps are known for their good sleeping conditions and excellent fresh food. Please indicate special diets in advance and we will accommodate your needs!
Our hunting area located (see Map) in northern Alberta, Canada is criss-crossed with forest cut lines providing access routes for our ATV vehicles as well as providing prime pathways for foraging wildlife. Our base camp, comprised of tent frames (solid walls), insulated floors and heaters, is located on the shores of a picturesque lake (3.5 hours from Edmonton).
- Spring Black Bear Hunts:
![]()
The black bear is abundant in Alberta, with a population of over 40,000, allowing a harvest of 2 bears per license. We hunt from the beginning of May till the season closes in mid-June. Our hunting area is inhabited by a few grizzlies and consequently no baiting is allowed. All our black bear hunting is therefore conducted on a fair chase basis.
Approximately, 20% of the harvested bears are off-color (blond, cinnamon and brown).
- Fall Moose Hunts:
![]()
Alberta holds a moose population of approximately 80,000 animals ... a number that has remained fairly steady over the last 5 years. In our area, a few racks are over 60"; a 50" spread is considered large and 40-50" is a good average. Moose are hunted during the rut in the end of September and the beginning of October.

- Fall Deer Hunts:
Alberta is famous as one of the best deer areas in North America. In our area, the Boreal Forest zone, located north of the agricultural areas is excellent deer habitat and we have an even mix of white-tailed and mule deer.
We hunt the peak of the rut, the two middle weeks of November, by still hunting or posting in stands. Grunting and rattling are also employed. Moose can be added to these hunts.
- Combination Hunts:
We provide combination hunts depending on license availability at the time of booking; hunts may include black bear, deer, moose; wolf, coyote, and grouse can be added for a nominal fee.
- Fishing:
![]()
Our camp is on the bank of a spring fed lake with clean water teeming with Northern Pike. Spinning, casting or fly-fishing are equally successful and catching 50 pike a day is not uncommon.
A fly-drive option is available by flying into Edmonton, Canada with car rental or airport pickup available. The number of days is open to availability and customer preference. Please contact us to ask for ($) Prices.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Included with the 'Hunting' are the following items; Transportation from Edmonton to the hunting area and return, Hunting Certificate and one License. Hunt as per description. Field care of trophies and meat
